The road to the 2017 Championship of the Call of Duty World League (CWL) Presented by PlayStation4 has continued with a big win from OpTic Gaming, earning themselves the lion’s share of the $100,000 prize pot.

FaZe Clan, Rise Nation and Infused rounded out the top spots after three days of intense competition at CWL Paris Open, hosted by ESWC. As the competition concluded, OpTic moves one step closer to securing a spot in the first ever CWL Global Pro League, beginning in April.

A talented collection of sixty-two teams battled it out over the weekend. After the dust settled, Call of Duty fans at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles witnessed OpTic emerge victorious as they were crowned champions and secured the top spot in addition to garnering CWL Pro Points and a better position for qualifying for the CWL Global Pro League.

CWL LAN action continues next month at the CWL Dallas Open, hosted by MLG. Teams from North America, Europe, and APAC will compete for a $200,000 prize pool in the last LAN event to qualify for Stage 1 of the CWL Global Pro League this spring. In order to be eligible for CWL Global Pro League, teams must register for the CWL Dallas Open.

Here are the final rankings for the CWL Paris Open at ESWC:

  • 1st – OpTic Gaming
  • 2nd – FaZe Clan
  • 3rd – Rise Nation
  • 4th – Infused
  • 5th/6th – Epsilon
