Summer holidays are looming which can only mean one thing for parents. Bored Kids. So Fun Kids Radio’s Bex Lindsay and toyologist (yes that is really a qualification) Peter Jenkinson have got together to give us the Outdoor Playtime Awards 2015, as judged by a panel of 25 kids, or mini toy-minators, and headed by six year old YouTuber Beau of Beau’s Toy Farm.
Among the favourites which the kids tested out was the Razor Crazy Cart from Re:Creation, NERF Zombie Strike Doominator and Interplay’s Ant World.
Says Toy Peter Jenkinson: “This category of toy is incredibly important to kids of all ages, getting them out and about, and facilitating collaborative play with their parents, siblings and friends.
“In an age where tech is king, it’s great to see that there is such a wide range of playthings on the market designed for the great outdoors – this list showcases the very best of the best.”
