WATCH: Apple actually invented “Continuity” in 2002

One of the biggest new features on the latest iteration of iOS and Mac OS is “continuity” – the ability to make and answer calls from your phone on your computer. But it seems the technology isn’t as new as we thought.

Way back in 2002, which looks like the stone age in comparison to now, Steve Jobs demoed a bluetooth link-up between Mac OS Jaguar and a mobile phone that had blutooth built in. Check out the above video, and witness the spectacle of people not all that long ago (9/11 happened longer ago, remember), cheering and clapping Caller ID functionality.
