Hyperlapse is Instagram’s latest project, and is a very clever app. In essence, it is designed for long time lapses… but for shortform video platforms like, umm, Instagram. You simply hit record, point your camera at something, and then Hyperlapse will crunch down the video to run super fast – but apply smoothing algorithms so if you film a journey, it will come out looking super slick.
