The stylus-equipped LG phone features a 5.5-inch screen with a 960×540-pixel resolution, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and a 3,000 mAh battery, has 8GB of onboard storage and 1GB RAM, a microSD card slot and a 13-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front camera.

It will ship with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, along with LG’s own customisations such as Smart Keyboard, Touch & Shoot and Knock Code.

“With its exceptional hardware and exceptional price that can’t be beat, the LG G3 Stylus is in a category all by itself”, LG chief executive Jong-seok Park said in a statement.

“The LG G3 Stylus is the perfect tool for consumers who don’t want to be bogged down carrying a laptop, tablet and smartphone. It gets things done and lets you have fun while doing without having to compromise on quality, style or user experience”.

LG will roll out the G3 Stylus in Brazil in September, followed by markets in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
