When are the Sony and Microsoft E3 press conferences in UK time?

We’re now only a few weeks away from biggest event in the gaming calendar: the Electronics Entertainment Expo, or E3 as it is better known. The show which will be taking place in Los Angeles between June 10th and 12th is when all of the big companies announce their plans for the next year – and reveal what games we can look forward to playing. But when exactly are the key press conferences?

Microsoft

When? Microsoft will be kicking off first – at 5:30pm UK Time a day early on June 9th.

What are they expected to announce? According to TechRadar we can look forward to hearing about Ryse 2 – this time set in the middle ages rather than Rome, a Halo 2 remake, Halo 5, Fallout 4 and a reboot of Perfect Dark (apparently it will be a third person adventure game now). Crikey.

Sony

When? Sony will be presenting at 2am UK Time on June 10th – so it’s going to be tempting to stay up (very) late after all of the other pressers.

Will it be worth staying up? According to DualShockers, we can expect to see God of War 4, a new PS4 Unchartered game, Gran Turismo 7: Prologue, much more detail on The Order: 1886, and some showing off of their Morpheus 3D headset.

Nintendo

When? Nintendo have opted not to go to E3 this year, but what they are planning is an online-only “Nintendo Direct” announcement, in which CEO Satoru Iwata will speak to camera like a kid in a nativity play, to make some new announcements. This is due to be released at some (unspecified) time on June 10th.

What will they announce? This remains a relatively big unknown. Obviously we can expect to see the usual roster of characters – presumably there will be Mario-related announcements. There’s also the semi-expectation of a proper Zelda game for WiiU. The really big thing they need to worry about though is what to do about the failing WiiU. Will they announce new hardware? A new strategy? Or do that disappointing thing they always do when they send a press release out announcing that the 3DS will now be available in yet another colour?

EA

When? EA are kicking off at 9pm UK time on June 9th</strong – that’s only a few hours after Microsoft.

What can we expect? Presumably given the massive success of Titanfall, we can expect more on the “Titanfall experiences” that EA have hinted at. And call me psychic, but don’t be surprised if FIFA 15 and updates for the whole sports catalogue make an appearance too.

Ubisoft

When? Ubisoft follow EA, with their presser starting at 11pm UK time on June 9th. So it’s going to be a late night.

What? Ubisoft are working on an awful lot – but we can expect much more on Tom Clancy’s The Division, which is due in the autumn, and inevitably more details on the forthcoming Assassin’s Creed: Unity for PS4 and Xbox One. We’ll hopefully also hear about the other AC game that is in the works for PS3 and Xbox 360 – and, if you’ll allow wild speculation… what about a spin-off pirate game given the huge acclaim for that game mechanic in AC4?

So it is no-doubt going to be an exciting E3 – we’ll have all of the news when it breaks!
