Gamers were disappointed when EA decided not to release 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

So they should now be a little bit happier with the announcement that EA is going to update FIFA 14 Ultimate Team to add a mode that resembles the tournament.

In a press release, EA Sports has confirmed that the new game mode will be patched on May 29 for free.

FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup includes all 32 of the national teams contending for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and lets players build Ultimate Team squads with cards of players from all of those clubs.

Players can partake in single-player and online tournaments, competing in the group stage and knockout rounds, with the goal of winning the World Cup. Using athletes from the same country or governing federation will increase a squad’s chemistry rating.
