Coke use drones to deliver drinks to skyscraper builders

Like Memtos and Diet Coke, the words “Heartwarming” and “Coca Cola” aren’t usually found together – but in this new promotional wheeze the company use drones to deliver a refreshing soft drink to some of Singapore’s thousands of migrant workers.
Check out the video below. At the start the migrant workers are shown talking about how they miss their families… so rather than role back the tide of globalisation or work to create a world in which wealth is distributed more evenly, Coke have done the next best thing and sent up a quadcopter with some cans attached.
It puts a whole new spin on the Diet Coke Break.
Perhaps the next step for the drones could be a trade union meeting in Columbia?
