Perhaps one of the biggest Android game releases ever? EA Sports have gone to town on bringing the console Fifa experience to Android mobiles and tablets. Complete with real teams and players, it’s a hefty 1.35GB download - but here’s the clever thing - it’s free. EA have gone down the micropayments route meaning that you can either play the game for hours to earn in-game coins to buy more teams and game modes, or you can make like Roman Abramovich and pay your way to the top of the table. There’s clever features abound in the game - including in-game injuries and fixtures reflecting real life, so you can play along with the real teams, and a fantasy football mode where you can build your own ultimate team. It’s quite astonishing to think only a few years ago Snake was the height of mobile gaming sophistication!
