Eurosport_Player_Xbox_Live-top.jpgThe Xbox 360 dashboard now has a Eurosport Player app, Microsoft has announced.

Supporting Kinect voice commands and gesture controls, the 360 app launched yesterday on Xbox Live across 20 European markets, offering content in 13 different languages.

The app offers Xbox Live Gold subscribers access to the Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 live channels, as well as catch up sports programming and exclusive content for Xbox users for select events.

It’s not a free service however. On top of an Xbox Live Gold subscription, the Eurosport Player requires a £2.99 a month subscription. Head over to retailer GAME however and you can pick up a free three month subscription with 12 month Xbox Live Gold subscriptions.

Eurosports sporting coverage this year will include US Grand Slam, the Moto GP Championships, IAAF World Championships and the Women’s UEFA European Championships.
