huawei-ascend-y210-.pngTalkTalk have announced that they will be slashing the prices on selcet Huawei smartphone contracts for the next six months, with certain deals starting at just £1.25 a month.

That £1.25 a month deal bags you the Huawei Ascend Y210 (pictured), an entry level Android handset, alongside 100 minutes of calls to any network, 250 texts and 100MB of data. A two year contract, the price rises to £5 a month for the remaining 18 months, but is still cheap as chips.

Other handsets up for grabs include the Huawei Ascend G330 and Ascend G510, each discounted to just £2.50 a month for the first six months before rising to £10 for the remaining 18 months of the contract. A Medium Plan, costing £3.75, is also available. Both come with 300 minutes and 3,000 texts, but are given differing data allowance, with 500MB and 1.5GB offered respectively.

“It’s amazing that TalkTalk customers can now enjoy all the benefits of a smartphone, like being able to check emails and look up maps on the go, for less than it costs to catch a bus in most parts of Britain,” said Dan Meader, mobile director at TalkTalk.

“This is another example of TalkTalk and Huawei working together to bring lower prices and better value to British customers.”
