You’ve really got your pick of great tablets at the moment, from Google’s Nexus 7, Apple’s iPad Mini, Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD, Microsoft’s Surface RT and even the new iPad 4. Which makes RIM’s decision to finally launch the BlackBerry PlayBook 3G+ in the UK right now even more difficult to fathom.
The troubled tablet line has hardly set the world on fire, and with this new mobile data packing variant weighing in at a costly £346 plus VAT (and being the only option available), you’d have to wonder who will pick this up.
The 7.6-inch 1024×600 resolution tablet runs off a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, has a 3MP front-facing camera and 5MP rear one, capable of 1080p video recording.
