Remember when we said "Mini" was the new black for Apple yesterday, what with the company being on the cusp of releasing an iPad Mini and smaller 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display. Well, get prepared to add another miniature bit of tech to their expected October launch event; a Mac Mini for 2012.
According to 9to5Mac, Apple will be launching an updated version of their tiny desktop machine alongside the iPad Mini and new Retina MacBook Pro, at an event expected to kick off on 23 October.
Two configurations for the machine are thought to be being made available, differing by storage space and processing power. A third version, running OS X Server, is also likely to launch.
The sites sources also state that the Mac Mini will be available immediately after the launch event, unlike the week or fortnight long wait that usually follows an iPad or iPhone launch.
It's looking set to be a very busy month for Apple. We'll keep you posted as to how it all turns out in the coming days and weeks.
