now-tv-review-top.jpgAs promised, Sky have rolled out their NOW TV movie streaming service to the Xbox 360 dashboard.

The Xbox 360 version of the app will also deliver HD ready 720i resolution video that, while not the full HD 1080p resolution we had hoped for, should look a little better than the low resolutions offered by the service on other platforms.

Pulling together hundreds of films from the Sky Movies library, movie fans can sign up for a £15-a-month pass that offers unlimited viewing of the majority of the catalogue. There’s also a 30-day trial of the service, while there’s a “Pay & Play” option for single movie rentals, priced between 99p and £3.49. Things get a little confusing as certain rental movies aren’t covered by the £15 monthly pass however, so keep an eye on what you’re choosing to view if you’re short on cash.

Existing NOW TV customers merely have to pop their log-in details into the new Xbox 360 app to get access to Sky’s content at no extra cost, which is already well served by a browser-based option and both Android and iOS apps. NOW TV will also shortly be hitting the PS3 and Roku streaming box.
