coolpix-l610-top.jpgNikon’s Coolpix range gets a new addition today in the shape of the L610, a beginners’ camera with enough top-level features to get even the pros interested.

Featuring a 16MP backlit CMOS sensor, the camera also houses Lens-Shift Vibration Reduction technology to make sure your photos stay focussed. There’s also a 14x optical zoom, with 19 different scene selection modes.

An Onscreen Quick Retouch Menu lets you touch-up and any dodgy corners or colour distortions before exporting your snaps.

Full HD 1080p recording is also onboard, with a dedicated movie recording button. That 14x optical zoom is also available when recording video too.

Available in red, black and silver fro 23 August, it’s attractively priced too at just £199. This could prove a big winner for Nikon.
