Cleary, first arrested almost a year to the day on June 21st 2011, carried out DDoS attacks against and computers owned by Fox, Sony, PCS and other companies, tapping into the details stored on the company’s computers.

Cleary will now stand trial in April 2013. It is yet unknown whether or not Cleary will face extradition for charges made against him in the US.

Another man has also admitted to the charges, which include attacking SOCA, the Serious Organised Crime Agency in the UK.

A further two men, Ryan Ackroyd and an unnamed 17-year old, deny the charges.
