Namco Bandai and the rapper Snoop Dog are set two team up in the console port of Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Sadly, Snoop will not be a playable character, he is set to make an appearance on a pre-order bonus level where he will make an appearance on the “Snoop Dogg Stage” and be a character called the “Doggfather” on his pre-order bonus level in which he will watch over fights. Snoop has also written a track for the up coming console port called “Knocc ‘Em Down”.

Snoop has apparently “been a fan of Tekken since the 90’s”.

The up and coming console port will not only feature Snoop, but also a new collection of playable characters and game modes. Some of the new characters will include; Angel, Ancient Orge, Kunimitsu and Michelle Chang to name but a few. However they will not all be included on the game it will depend on where you purchase the game, each retailer having different characters that will be available to them. However they should be available for download.

Some of the other game modes include one-on-two, two-on-two, a mode where you can practise against a customisable AI controlled character and a practise mode for beginner players, if they want to get better at the game, and advance players, if they want to improve their skills.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be released on September 14 for PS3 and Xbox 360
