Diablo III, Blizzard’s hack-and-slash dungeon crawler that has experienced more delays than the London Underground Jubilee Line on a Tuesday morning, finally has a release date! PC gamers will be able to take on the forces of hell from the 15th of May, 2012. Those living in Latin American countries and Russia have to wait a little longer than the rest of the world though, with the release date for those territories set for June 7th.
“After many years of hard work by our development team and months of beta testing by hundreds of thousands of dedicated players around the world, we’re now in the homestretch,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment.
“We look forward to putting the final polish on Diablo III over the next two months and delivering the ultimate action-RPG experience to gamers worldwide starting on May 15.”
Blizzard are now taking pre-orders on digital copies of the game, which can be grabbed by clicking here.
