A new Windows Phone 7 handset from LG has been leaked ahead of MWC 2012. The LG Miracle (noted elsewhere as the LG Fantasy E740) is a mid-level Windows Phone 7 handset. It’s looking set to be the first Windows Phone 7 device from LG since the LG Quantaum and Optimus 7 handsets were revealed at the operating system’s launch.

Said to feature a 4-inch WVGA NOVA display capable of deep black levels, it’s powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, has 8GB of built-in storage, a 5MP rear camera with 720p video shooting capabilities and a VGA front-facing webcam.

Connectivity specs include 14.4Mbps HSPA, 5.0GHz-capable 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. Interestingly, the leak suggest NFC tech will be present too, despite the platform not currently supporting the data transfer standard.

So, not quite a match for the HTC Titan or Nokia’s Lumia blowers, but it’s still great to see the nifty Windows Phone platform expanding.
