htc-ville.jpgThe HTC Ville has broken cover after a month’s worth of rumours. Snapped over at Pocket Now, we’ve also got a decent look at what’s expected to be its near-final spec sheet.

At 8mm thick, the Ville is anything but vile, measuring up as the thinnest HTC handset to date. With a 4.3 inch 960 x 540 Super AMOLED display it’s perfectly pocketable, without a single physical button on front of its metal casing.

Under the hood is a 1.5GHz Snapdragon Series 4 processor, expected to be powering HTC’s Sense 4.0 Android UI overlay.

Flip the Ville over and you’ll find an 8MP back-illuminated camera capable of shooting 1080p video. As is de rigueur with HTC phones at the moment Beats Audio handle the in-built speakers, while HSPA+ connectivity is also lined up for inclusion.

The lack of NFC technology is the only notable absence in an otherwise-promising looking phone.

Expect to see the handset fully revealed at next year’s Mobile World Congress show, which kicks off in Barcelona on the 27th February.
