Optimus-Black.jpgLG have confirmed which of their Android smartphones will be making the jump to the latest build of Google’s mobile OS, Ice Cream Sandwhich.

We’d already learnt that the LG Optimus 2X would be getting the upgrade and, as expected, it’s looking like only LG’s other high-end devices will be getting the upgrade treatment.

The Optimus Black, the Optimus 3D and the Optimus LTE will all be joining the LG Optimus 2X in the Ice Cream Sandwich fray.

Still, don’t lose hope if your handset hasn’t made the cut just yet; LG haven’t ruled out bringing Ice Cream Sandwich to more devices in the future.

“We are also continuing to evaluate the ICS OS to determine whether it is compatible with the functionality, features and performance of other LG smartphones,” say LG on their Facebook page.

No word yet when the phone’s will be getting the upgrade, but LG promise to let us know when at some point next month.
