Rumours have been popping up via Twitter that the lead actor for Grand Theft Auto V has been found. Actor Ned Luke has been outed by an apparent friend and IMDB as being the voice behind the main character in the teaser trailer released a few weeks ago.

IMDB lists the actor as playing the role of Albert De Silva, who we now assuming is our lead for the new Rockstar title. A tweet from Jimmy Taenaka also adds weight to this rumour, “My fellow thespian Ned Luke is the lead voice and profile in the upcoming game by Rockstar Grand Theft Auto 5! Way to go Ned! Wholly Molly!”

He is not exactly a house hold name, which follows Rockstar tradition and i think the fans will be happy about this as well, if a Hollywood name was voicing the character you would just think of the actor and not feel for the character in front of you.

IMDB also have a demo reel for the actor which if you watch and listen doesn’t sound too far off of our narrator for the Grand Theft Auto V trailer. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet but this is the strongest link we have so far as to the details of our protagonists.

The actor who tweeted, “I finally figured out how to turn on the PS3.” was maybe giving us a little wink wink nudge nudge perhaps? His Twitter account was removed after this. Rockstar has yet to comment or confirm the actor or voice of their lead.
