I know, I know; we’re up and down on these iPhone 5 launch dates like a yo-yo. But look! We’ve got more techy people saying that October 4th is now the dead-certain unveiling of the iPhone 5.
All Things Digital are reporting that the newly-crowned CEO Tim Cook will be leading the Apple army on the day for the media event as its main presenter, being the first time that Cook has lead the Apple circus into town. No rumours yet on whether or not a certain Mr Steve Jobs will be in attendance, let alone official confirmation.
The sources claim that the iPhone 5 will be available for purchase “within a few weeks” of the announcement.
Of course, none of this is coming direct from Apple at present, but we’ll pass them on as soon as we get them.
