The iPad 2 is barely out of nappies, but in the fast moving world of tech all eyes are already on what Apple plans to do next with their tablet brand. Designer Guilherme Schasiepen has a few ideas, which he’s thrown into these new concept designs for a possible iPad 3.
The most notable inclusion from Schasiepen is the often rumoured Retina display. First featured in the iPhone 4, it’s been a long-rumoured component of every iPad variant since the original launched last year. With rumours once again rearing their heads, could it be third time lucky for the high-res display?
Stereo speakers and new antennas are teased by Schasiepen, who also envisions future iPads with curved glass backs as oppossed to the brushed aluminium of current versions. The solid white and black casings are strking as a result, while at only 0.29 inches thick Schasiepen believes we’ll also get updated 5MP rear cameras with LED flash and 1080p recording, as well as a HD FaceTime front camera.
