nokia-c2-03.jpgIt’s not all just about the Meego-packing N9 handset from Nokia today. They’re also taking this morning to reveal the C2-03 dual-SIM mobile.

Part of their Series 40 range, they’re describing the device as a “Touch and Type” phone, as it combines a slide-out standard numeric keypad with a touchscreen.

The dual-SIM feature however is the headline spec, allowing two SIM cards to be intalled in the phone at the same time. In other words, you can have your business number and your personal one housed in a single phone. You can pop a new SIM in using the “Easy Swap” feature without worrying about re-booting each time, while the details of up to five SIM cards can be remembered by the handset at any one time.

Other than that it’s pretty basic fare – 400 hours of standby, 5 hours talk time and 35 hours of music from the battery, with only 10MB of internal memory, expandable up to 32GB with microSD. Nokia Maps will come pre-installed.

Expect to see this one hit stores in Q3, for around the €80 mark.

  • Yes..nokia phone is out of date now…hope the nokia will improve in future…

  • Wondering what the developers took as an example. Clearly see a BB Torch with a new feature. It does look good and I hope this takes Nokia back in the game.

  • I like the fact all the different platforms are starting look alike and how the branding is going from Ovi to Nokia, from Forum Nokia to Nokia Developer etc. Well executed Nokia!
