htc-sensation-1.jpgThe HTC Sensation, the spiritual successor to the HTC Desire Android wonderphone, will be touching down on May 19th exclusively via Vodafone.

For £35 a month across a 24 month contract, you’ll bag the smartphone on the Vodafone network along with 900 minutes, unlimited text messages and 750MB of mobile data allowance.

Originally codenamed the Pyramid, the Sensation has a fittingly sensational spec sheet. Runing Gingerbread version of Android (2.3.3) overlaid with HTC’s superb HTC Sense 3.0 UI, it’s powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, backed up with 768MB of RAM.

You’ll also be able to shoot 1080p video with the phone, as well as taking 8MP shots with the rear snapper, which should both look equally lush on the smartphone’s 4.3 inch 960×540 pixel display.
