puccini.jpgHTC’s rumoured 10.1 inch tablet, codenamed “Puccini” has had its specs leak online. Expected to be a media-friendly powerhouse, the tablet’s suggested OS of choice for the Puccini may come as something of a dissapointment to HTC fans.

That’s because HTC have again apparently backed the Gingerbread build of Android, just like they did with the Flyer, rather than the tablet-orientated Honeycomb build.

Elsewhere the tablet looks more impressive however, with it’s 10.1 inch screen running at a resolution of 1280 x 800. A dual-core Snapdragon chipset brings HTC’s tablet in line with the iPad 2 and Motorola Xoom in terms of processing power, with the returning Scribe Pen stylus setting the slate aside from the pack. 4G connectivity will come courtesy of the Cingular LTE network.

More concrete facts as and when we get them.
