VIDEO: Unreleased iOS build pops up online in White iPhone 4

Now here are two very interesting videos. Vietnamese website Tinhte, the same folks who got their hands on the second leaked iPhone 4 handset, have posted a couple of videos of what they are claiming to be the iPhone 5.

Though sporting an unusual 64 GB worth of storage space, this seems not to be the case. It’s more likely an early iPhone 4 White prototype, with the design almost identical to Apple’s current iPhone range.

However, there is something quite different about the iOS build running on the phone, which may or may not be an unreleased version of iOS 4, or even potentially an early look at iOS 5.

Firstly, multi-tasking on the OS is vastly different. Instead of a strip of app icons along the bottom of the screen, the phone in the video instead shows a preview screen of each application, expanding into the full blown app when tapped.

A search funtion also accompanies the multi-tasking here, while folder creation is different too.

Tinhte have a good reputation for delivering real goods when it comes to leaks, so we don’t expect this to be a knock-off OS. Whether it’s something we’ll see in the future or has been salvaged from Apple’s cutting room floor we’ll leave up to you to decide.
