It may be one of Google’s key web destinations, but the search giants have been in no hurry to port their Blogger blogging platform to their mobile OS Android, despite a loyal community crying out for a mobile app alternative.
Finally, roughly three years since the platform’s launch, a Blogger app can now be downloaded to Android smartphones, making an army of mobile writers very happy indeed.
The Blogger Android app allows users to access multiple accounts and blogs, writing posts offline and saving them locally, ready to be uploaded when a web connection is available.
Other features include the ability to create galleries directly from the phone’s gallery, as well as inserting location info directly into your posts.
Android owning Blogger users know what to do: hit this link to grab the app for free from the newly launched Android Market.
