LG’s Optimus 2X handset, the world’s first dual-core smartphone, will now be available in a white casing as well as the standard black finish.
Due out in February, LG marketing head Ken Hong announced the news to the world via Flickr, saying that “World’s first dual-core smartphone – LG Optimus 2X – now available in Korea, white version coming in Feb.”
Sure, it’s not much, but it may help you better spot it running off into the distance by reflecting more light when the ultra-desirable phone is snatched by some late-night-n’er-do-well.
It’s however interesting that LG are ploughing ahead with more colour options after the notable absence of the white iPhone 4. Choice is good,LG right?
