david-rice.JPGApple have just taken on David Rice as their new Head of Global security, a man whos background makes him sound more James Bond than tech executive.

Well, more like Q at least. Rice has previously worked for the Department of Defense and the National Security agency, with his key areas being a Naval information warfare and network vulnerability analysis. That last area will be of particular interest to Apple, whose increasing growth in the enterprise areas means that increased security measures are now of the upmost importance.

Definately the man for the job then.

Rice follows the appointment of former Mozilla security chief Window Snyder last March, in what is quickly becoming a security dream team over at the Infinite Loop.
