CES 2011 – Acer Iconia Tab A500 slate revealed

Tablets galore at CES this year, and the latest to rear its head is the Iconia Tab A500 from Acer.

It’s a 10.1 inch Android number (no news on what version of the OS yet) though we do know it’ll have the Acer UI 4.5 skin placed on top of whatever Google software they do opt for. 4G connectivity is confirmed, with a Tegra 2 chipset and a 10-point multitouch screen.

A gyroscope is included for gaming, while 1080p HD output over HDMI is possible.

No news on release date or price, but we’ll keep you posted.
