pies-mag.jpgTop UK football website Who Ate All The Pies are bringing their top footy knowledge and wit to Apple’s iPad tablet in the first issue of the Who Ate All The Pies digital magazine.

Mixing features written by leading football bloggers alongside crowdsourced content from the websites readership, the 48 page magazine was put together using MagCloud.

“If you like Pies then I’m confident you’ll really enjoy the mag,’ says Pies editor Ollie Irish. ‘We will create a new football journal that can be a welcome home for quirky but high-quality football writing – without losing the irreverent tone that Pies is known for.

“We’ve got a good blend of features, I think, such as the cover story on the 20 best teenage players in the world and a great colour piece on Gazza’s pranks by Tottenham’s former kitman, plus some old favourites and brilliant photos from the PA archive. So I hope there’s something for all footy fans to enjoy.

“It looks fantastic too, thanks to art director Mike Poole. He’s done a brilliant job to capture the old-school part of football we love but with a totally fresh design.”

To grab the magazine, you first need to pick up the MagCloud iPad app, and then search for Who Ate All The Pies. Get a sneak-peek preview of the magazine by clicking here. It’s looking rather nifty.
