iPad and the App Store
Three have just announced their subsidised iPad price plans, and they certainly give the Everything Everywhere (Orange and T-Mobile) plans a run for their money.

While the unit prices of the iPads remain the same as the competition (£199 for the 16GB version, £249 for the 32GB and £349 for the 64GB model) and the £25 monthly fee is also identical, the generous data allowances give Three the edge.

They’ll stump up a massive 15GB worth of data for their users, compared to a measly 1GB of data from Everything Everywhere. Three’s deal may not offer the BT Openzone Options, but with that much usage allowed, you’re unlikely to miss it.

“We are delighted to launch new pricing options for iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G, in addition to our competitive SIM-only plans for iPad in the UK,” said Marc Allera, sales and marketing director at Three.

“Our network is the largest 3G network in the country and came first in the two most recent YouGov surveys of Mobile Broadband customers – ensuring our customers enjoy the very best mobile performance on iPad.”
