Cheap European data roaming for Vodafone customers

Vodafone have changed their pricing structure for travelling customers to make using mobile data in Europe a bit more tempting.

With arms in several European territories already, Vodafone will be able to offer a 25MB per day allowance to their customers. This will take effect in the following destinations: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Switzerland. According to Vodafone, 25MB of data will let you read and reply to 250 emails, access Facebook 500 times, watch 25 minutes worth of YouTube clips or download 65 maps.

“In addition, consumer customers on contract price plans of £40 and above who are already benefiting from 5MB a day to use in Europe will automatically have their allowance increased to 25MB,” added Vodafone.

“Occasional Roamers” will pay £2 a day for the days they roam, while regular travellers can try a £10 a month deal.
