BBC Worldwide and Lonely Planet Celebrate Internet Week With Free iPhone Apps

November 8-12th is Internet Week Europe, a festival created to celebrate the thriving Internet industry in Europe. To celebrate BBC Worldwide and Lonely Planet will be offering two of their most popular iPhone apps for free.

BBC Worldwide will making its BBC Good Food Healthy Recipes app which is usually priced at £1.79 for free for the duration of the festival. The popular app includes recipes for everything including Cakes, Festive Recipes, Quick Recipes and the Healthy Recipes.

The Lonely Planet will be make its London City Guide available for free. This is a brilliant app that will help both visitors and current residents discover fascinating new places around the city.
To make the most of the free London City Guide app, Lonely Planet will be organising a London treasure hunt on Wednesday 10th November with a goodie bag worth £150 up for grabs. If you want to join in head to Charing Cross station at 6PM.
