Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs has today confirmed that the mobile chip kings are busy working away on a speedy 1.5GHz processor.
Speaking at the Innovation Qualcomm (IQ) event in London, Jacobs said, "we have a 1.5Ghz processor coming", later revealing that the processor would be commercially available by the start of next year, just in time for Mobile World Congress 2011.
Qualcomm also confirmed that Snapdragon 1.2 GHz devices would hit over the next year in Europe, even featuring inside a number of undisclosed tablet devices.
Expect to see some super-charged mobiles and tablets announced come the start of the new year then.
