iphone and apps thumb.jpgThough the user reviews on Apple’s App Store tend to be fairly good when it comes to giving an honest and informative verdict on the quality of the software on offer, there’s still nothing like taking an app for a test ride to see if it truly suits your requirements.

Recognising this, Apple have introduced a new featured section to their marketplace, called “Free On The App Store”. Split into three categories, New and Noteworthy, Our Favourites and Try Before You Buy, it’s the latter of these section that will likely be found most useful.

Try Before You Buy collects all the “Lite” and advertising-subsidised versions of paid for apps in one easy to find place, letting you give them a try before you commit your cash.

Sure, you could still find these versions before with a little searching around, but it’s nice to have them just a few taps away under their own tab.
