What is believed to be the first leaked shot of the rumoured HTC Desire HD has just popped up on a Hong Kong forum, seemingly showing similar specs to that found in the HTC HD2 but with Google’s Android Froyo OS release running on it rather than Windows Mobile.

Though it’s hard to judge from an unconfirmed sighting, the image does seem to match up with some of the rumoured specs. There looks to be a large 4.3 inch 800×480 WVGA touchscreen and an 8 MP camera with 720p video recording capabilities, while the Desire HD is also said to boast a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip.

A HTC HD2 with Android slapped on sounds a very tasty prospect, so lets keep our fingers crossed that this one turns out to be real. Rumour pencils this one in for a Q4 2010 release, so check back soon to see if anything more official pops up in the meantime.
