Sony RDP-X80iP portable iPod dock launches

Sony yesterday lifted the lid on the RDP-X80iP portable iPod dock, a loud and lightweight little number that’s apparently been specifically tuned for UK ears.
Offering 7 hours of playback from the internal rechargeable battery, Sony are calling this UK exclusive the “best ever sounding speaker dock” they’ve seen. And at yesterday’s hands-on session it did seem mighty impressive, blasting out tunes at a remarkable volume without losing too much clarity.
Featuring touch sensitive controls, it comes with 5 different sound modes and an OLED screen, as well as an aux-in line for hooking up other mp3 players if Apple’s gear isn’t your sort of thing.
