samsung-galaxy-s.jpgVodafone have announced that they will be carrying the super-sleek Samsung Galaxy S Android smartphone on their network. A Vodafone exclusive, you’ll need to pre-order the handset to be front of the line come release day.

The Samsung Galaxy S is looking pretty special. Unveiled at the CTIA conference back in March, this Android 2.1 phone features a beautiful 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1 GHz processor, 5 MP camera and media streaming features.

Vodafone have put the 16GB model up on their online store, where you can register for updates, though no tariffs have been announced yet.

Expansys are also selling a SIM-free Samsung Galaxy S if you’ve already got the perfect tariff nailed down, but it isn’t cheap, weighing in at a penny shy of 500 big ones.

  • I must say I am shocked that the Vodafone website is still saying 30,000+ apps availabel for Android. That was the latest update from Google but Androlib etc have it as much more now (50,000+). Maybe Google should do an update.

  • So what there’s a 500mb data limit with Vodafone.
It’s a Ferrari with no petrol.
