  • You should also check out Spotflick – the Penalty Shoot Out Game for the iPhone. It is a fun flick to kick game where you get to hone your penalty kicking skills against some of the best goalkeepers from around the world and all in glorious cartoon 2D animated glory!

Spotflick allows you to win the Spotflick Cup and show the world which nation has the best Penalty Kicking Skills. So you can prove that even if your team can’t take penalties, their fans certainly can! The USA are currently sitting in second place behind England in the Table at http://www.spotflick.com/spotflickcup.php

Check it out and happy flicking!

  • Pretty good selection of apps here but have my own recommendation to make on behalf of Continental Tyres…

They have a similar score prediction app like number 20 in that list, but this one is completely free. As well as the ability to predict scores (and see how it affects the tables and fixtures as a result), social sharing on Facebook and Twitter, users can also enter themselves into competitions for official World Cup match balls and a holiday to South Africa.

    Definitely worth checking out: http://www.whowillwintheworldcup.co.uk/

  • Ramesh, you have to be kidding. Football is massive worldwide not just europe and south america! Your country is definately in the minority. I can only think of India with no real interest in football. Most Asian countries are fantical, all over se asia and obviously north east. Tge middle east, and pretty much everywhere else have a real interest. Your deluded if you think otherwise.

  • Hi, After comparing some WorldCup apps, I decided to get an app called “SouthAfrica-Fan.com” which seems to have everything you need to know, including YouTube Videos, Push Notifications and Facebook Connect. I would also recommend it. : )

Who are we kidding? I just happen to be an Indian living in the US with flippant interest in soccer, *nobody* here cares about the World Cup or even know it exists!

I bet 88% or more of India does not know or care and you better believe it. Soccer is big, only in Europe, and South America, and nothing is about to change it.

The Olympics is the only true WORLD event, and yes, even India, a no-show in most sport that is not Cricket cares 🙂

(Happened to stumble on this website via engadget on the JooJoo article!)

  • I downloaded the vuvuzela app from virtual vuvuzela.com and have enjoyed it. Each of the world cup teams has their own vuvuzela.

  • WOW! There are a lot of these apps that I like (iSouth Africa 2010, 100 Best Soccer Goals and Best Football Goal Videos), I will start downloading them right away!
