Lenovo L series thinkpad.jpgLenovo have announced the launch of a new L Series range of ThinkPad laptops. Eco-friendly and rugged enough to pass several military specifications, the L412 and L512 are the first two models announced for the range.

Both models, differentiated by the L412’s 14 inch screen and L152’s 15 inch screen, feature anti-glare HD displays, Intel Core i3 and i5 processors, a choice between ATI Mobility Radeon or Intel Integrated graphics and lots of storage.

3G and 4G wireless connectivity options are available, while the multi-touch trackpad packing ThinkPads can run for as long as 8 hours on a single charge.

“Today more than ever before, customers are looking to get more out of their PC technology,” said Dilip Bhatia, executive director, ThinkPad Product Marketing, Lenovo. “We designed the new L Series to give users the most important features for being productive like cutting-edge processing performance, long battery life and a VoIP-optimized design without sacrificing the reliability and durability ThinkPad is known for.”

Available from mid-May, prices start at £650.
