Griffin iPad A-Frame big.jpgIt may not be the weightiest of gadgets, but taking an extended browsing period with even the svelte iPad can leave your fingers a little achey. Griffin Technology hope to have the answer with their newly launched iPad A-Frame stand.

An upright stand, the brushed aluminium A-Frame secures your iPad in place for hands-free viewing. Grooves in the base allow the iPad’s speakers to emit volume without obstruction, while there has also been space left to allow the iPad to sit in the stand when wrapped in one of Griffin’s protective casings.

Folding the A-Frame flat and placing the iPad on top also lets the stand provide valuable wrist support when typing out long messages.

“An elegant user experience has been at the centre of our product design from the beginning,” said Paul Griffin, founder and CEO of Griffin Technology. “The A-Frame continues in this tradition by giving users a beautiful, clever and indispensable base for the best iPad experience.”

The A-Frame will be available at Apple Retail Stores nationwide and at www.griffintechnology.com from May 2010, priced at £39.99.

  • I think you need a bit more of a story with this as this isn’t really a news story in its current form. Perhaps you could write about why you like Michael so much
It is hard to say such a thing is clear.

  • Great!! it was a much needed thing for all the iPad users. Even I was looking for something.
