Nikon S1000pj: World's first projector camera

Comments (2)

Want to show your digital snaps to friends without you all having to gather around a tiny LCD screen or mess around hooking up the camera to a big screen? Nikon has the answer. It's the world's first camera with a built in projector.

Dubbed the Nikon Coolpix S1000pj, it lets you project your digital images and video footage onto any surface in an instant. Simple to operate, just press a button and the images can be displayed onto any flat surface up to 40inches (100cm) across - whether it's the wall for a presentation or the ceiling for a bedtime slideshow!

As you might expect from a Nikon camera, image quality hasn't been compromised at all. Available in warm silver or black, the S1000pj boasts a 5x zoom NIKKOR lens and resolution of 12.1 effective megapixels.

Shouldn't this blatant and horrific advert be flagged up as such? Is this the new direction of the site, under new management? Shame on you.

Yes it should be flagged up. We are in the process of making it clear that this is a sponsored post. The messaging is on the home page, but we haven't added it to the permalink yet.
