HMV and Seatwave bring exchanged tickets to high-street stores

seatwave.JPGWith the Royal Mail strikes causing havoc to the postal system, waiting for tickets for a long anticipated show to pop through the letterbox can be a nail-biting experience. Looking to capitalise on the postal system’s instability, HMV and ticket exchange service Seatwave have teamed up to allow customers to bypass the post altogether.

Tickets exchanged or resold through Seatwave can now be picked up at a HMV store right up to the start of an event. Speaking of the deal with retail giants HMV, Seatwave founder Joe Cohen said “We … see a great future in being able to offer fans gig tickets, band merchandise and recorded music in one package.”
