Here’s a video to make you glad that none of your friends class themselves as ‘experimental media artists.’ In his latest video, Daito Manabe hooks up four (presumably former) friends to his face visualiser – a device which transforms music into electrical pulses that stimulate the facial muscles.

The result, as you’ll see below, is a slightly unnerving yet oddly compulsive video. The idea of having my facial muscles controlled by someone else is freaky beyond words, but hey, at least you’d be able to laugh at your friends undergoing the same punishment. That is until your mouth is rammed shut against your will on the 3:31 mark.
