Sony could be about to unveil a wearable Walkman – the W-Series, where presumably “W” stands for “wearable” — in a very compact and attractive design.

Sony Insider claims some real-world pictures of the device. The two earphones are magnetic and attach themselves to the player forming a distinctive heart shape when not in use.

Sony Insider reckons the unit will offer 2GB of storage and be available for around $50-75 (£35-50ish).

What do you think? Like the design?

  • Love the design, though they seem to be targetting the low end of the market, which isn’t really me. A version with tonnes of memory, if it sounded good, would make me a very happy chappy indeed.
