iRiver E50 low end, good look MP3 players coming in 2009

The purveyor of fine, interesting and alternative PMPs, iRiver, is set to release another series of MP3 players into the wild any time now at a low end £60 or thereabouts.

The iRiver E50 will come in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB sizes with 1.8" LCD at 176x220 and a built-in microphone. For your modest outlay you can play MP3, OGG, FLAC, WMA, WAV and SMV files plus you get an FM tuner and up to 10 EQs to play with. It also happens to look rather good.

Well done, iRiver. Now all we have to do is wait for January.
