Well, well, well, what’s this little sexy creature all about? I imagine that’s what you’re saying in your head right now as you feast your peepers on this, the Maxian M1T pocket PMP.

It’s often hard to get excited about new portables these days. They all seem to be missing something. This, however, isn’t. It basically seems to have everything you could possibly want. Ever.

It measures 6.5mm x 61mm x14.1mm and weighs just 127g, which according to the Royal Mail weight comparison website, is less than a CD in a bubble wrap envelope.

Despite the small frame you get a machine capable of playing MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, AAC, FLAC and APE audio files and MP4, WMV9, H.264, MPEG-2, AVI, DivX and XviD video files, which pretty much solves any DRM problems you may have.

Perhaps the only downside is that they only come in 8GB and 16GB sizes which could be a problem if you want to pack hours of films onto the little darling, but sweat ye not, Maxim has got that one covered with an SD/SDHC port.

The real bonus is that it’s got a DMB TV tuner inside as well and you get to watch all these wonderful goodies on a very reasonable 3.5″ HVGA screen all hosted on a Windows OS. Fingers crossed the battery life will be able to sustain all the action and do your toes as well in the hope that we see a version over on our shores some day. They do at least have a site in English which seems like a very good start.
